Maandag and P-day in Suriname.....

Picking up missionaries at our first stop, the Tammenga chapel.....

And away we go to Brownsberg!
Past an aluminum factory that was built during World War One. It is now being closed and a lot of jobs will be lost....
Huge logs are coming out of the binnenland for sale...
The scenery is getting more and more beautiful as we head to the tropical rain forest..
It rains a lot in the tropical rain forest...
We are following the bus in our truck. We are carrying coolers and supplies....

Huge hollow trees that when hit with a rock or coconut make a sound that can be heard for miles...

ReplyDeleteChecked all the beautiful photos. Still none with my grandson Elder Parker Somsen. Has he been sent somewhere else maybe? I hope he is ok. Have not heard from him in a long time.
